Araudil never had a particularly pleasant life in the Underdark. His House fell out of favor with Lloth when he was a young man, and he lived much of his life as a slave. But when he was attacked by a werewolf from the surface, he finally had a chance to escape - something that would have been impossible for a drow slave had he not been able to transform. On the surface in the darkest forests to the east Araudil found the People of the Black Blood, and with them his destiny.
